OleoGel Masque-Cleanser
Our Oleo-Gel Cleansing Masques melt away makeup, oil, sunscreen and impurities and leaves your face feeling refreshingly clean yet comfortably hydrated and soft. This age-defying cleanser becomes milky when it comes in contact with water, and then it rinses right off.
Use as a cleanser or a masque. You decide how long to leave the product before rinsing! It's perfect as a stand-alone cleanser that you can use every day or you can double-cleanse.
Pumpkin:
It's full of the antioxidants, Vitamin A and Vitamin C, that both help to soften and soothe dry skin. Pumpkin also boosts collagen production which keeps skin from looking cracked and scaly. If you want to protect your skin from becoming dry, pumpkin will do the trick.
Did you know that pumpkin has the highest content of naturally occurring vitamin A (which helps minimize acne scars), salicylic acid (helps to reduce acne), and beta carotene (helps decrease wrinkles & dark spots)
Take a dime size amount of balm (nickel size if using as a makeup remover), warm between finger tips before massaging into the skin. Once all makeup has been dissolved, take a small amount of water in your fingertips and massage into the skin to form an emulsion before rinsing clean. Although it isn’t essential, you may also use to damp muslin cloth to wipe clean.
For Dry Skin: Can be used as a reparative mask by applying as an overnight mask as a final step in your evening routine; cleansing the skin the morning for an enhanced moisture boost.
“Pumpkin is made up of alpha hydroxy acids (similar to glycolic acid and lactic acid), which are fruit acids that slough dead skin cells, increase cell turnover and keep the skin glowing,” explains Lily Talakoub, M.D., dermatologist at McLean Dermatology and Skincare Center. “Pumpkin also has the added benefit of containing beta-carotene, a vitamin A-derivative that decreases wrinkles, helps slough brown spots and can help reverse UV damage.” Zinc is also plentiful in pumpkin, which Dr. Talakoub calls “nature’s best healing agent,” for its acne-preventing and skin-healing abilities.
Pumpkin is also loaded with vitamin C, which helps boost your body’s immunity to fight off colds, the flu and infections, as well as helps fight sun damage and free radicals on the skin, preventing aging, wrinkles and brown spots, according to Dr. Talakoub. “Vitamin A is another pumpkin goodie—it helps improve your vision, reduces the risk of cataracts of the eye and minimizes acne scars,” she adds.
Ready to take advantage of the myriad of beauty benefits of fall’s favorite fruit (yes, fruit!)? Here are the pumpkin-containing beauty products that experts say are worth trying year-round.
Cloudberry:
antioxidant, nourishing, and hydrating properties. It helps protect the skin from environmental damage, nourish and hydrate the skin, and improve its appearance by preventing signs of aging.
Cloudberries and their seeds are great sources of Vitamin E and cartenoids, more powerful antioxidants that protect against skin damage brought on by the sun and other environmental factors, like pollution—and can help strengthen the skin's protective barrier.
To apply, scoop a pea-sized amount to fingers and apply. Add water to wash away. Wait 10 minutes before rinsing if using as a masque.
Key ingredients include cloudberry, pumpkin, sunflower, apricot!

Devils Club - is known to be adaptogenic and helps our bodies adapt to and manage various stressors. It is also known to be analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral.
Goldenroot (Rhodeola Rosea) – another adaptogen that grows in extreme climates that can teach your skin to adapt to stress. Over time, your skin will appear less red and better retain moisture. That could look like your skin reacting less to the elements or powerful ingredients, or needing only a nickel-size amount of moisturizer instead of your usual dollop.
Kinikinik (Bearberry) - fights signs of premature aging, uneven skin tone, lightening and brightening, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, anti-bacterial properties.
Labrador Tea - has excellent calming properties, reduces redness and can help decrease the look of acne, eczema and psoriasis. It is three times as potent as Vitamin C and E and 20 times more powerful than idebenone (an analogue of coenzyme Q10). Weathering the harsh Canadian climate and its extreme temperature fluctuations, this adaptable bush keeps its leaves year round.
Pine - helps soothe itchy, inflamed, and dry skin conditions. It can help slow the appearance of signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and age spots. Pine offers a cleansing, stimulating, uplifting, and invigorating effect.
