Aspen - rich in salicylates and smooths and conditions the skin. It is excellent for sensitive skin! Aspen bark extract is that it can be extracted without harm to the tree. The saliciin in Aspen Bark Extract can help inhibit growth of E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, A. brasiliensis and C. albicans.
Goldenseal - bears a single sizeable raspberry-like flower in the summer that contain powerful phytochemical alkaloids including berberine. Goldenseal offers a distinct calming effect on the skin. It is native to Canada and was a traditional medicinal herb full of Vitamins A, B, C, and E, and iron, zinc, potassium, calcium, and manganese.
Willow - has been used for centuries to soothe irritated skin. It contains salicin—from which salicylic acid is derived. Willow provides gentle exfoliation for more radiant skin. It can help to clear pores and alleviate acne and irritation.
